Chapter 17: Winter Story

It's winter now, and it's been more than two months since William returned to Sanssouci Palace, and during these two months, William has become familiar with all corners of Sanssouci Palace and most of his attendants.

The attendants had a great affection for His Royal Highness, and William was polite and kind to the attendants, and he never bullied them.

Today William has just come out of Old Hans, and now in Sanssouci Palace, Old Hans trains William in fencing, bowing and arrows, fighting, etc.

The etiquette and culture of the court were only taught by Buel.

As for Frederick the Great, when dealing with government affairs, he often called William to let William be familiar with and even understand the various administrations of the kingdom.

"Brother William, come quickly," one of the children waved to William on the side of the road as several children gathered in the garden of Sanssouci Palace When William saw that it was his sister Frederick Christine Emilia Wilhelmina, he shouted: "Christine, what are you doing?"

"Come on, Brother William, there's a wounded rabbit here," cried Christine.

William trotted all the way to them, and looked at the children looking at the rabbit on the ground at a loss, Christine saw William coming over as if he had a backbone and pointed to the rabbit and said to William: "Brother, look at the rabbit's hind legs, it seems to be injured, we were playing just now, it suddenly popped out, it scared me to death, look at it, it's all right" Christine complained William grabbed the rabbit's ears, and sure enough, there was a small opening on the rabbit's hind leg that was bleeding, probably stepping on some trap.

William said to Christine as he put the rabbit down: "It's not a big deal, put some medicine on its legs, tie it with a cloth, and it will be all right soon," he said, calling out to an attendant, and handed the rabbit to the attendant.

"Hee-hee, my brother is still smart, brother, I'll introduce you" Christine Ni pulled William and said to the children present: "This is my brother, His Royal Highness Wilhelm, Prince of Brandenburg," he said, pulling Wilhelm and pointing to the children.

"This is Karina Ludwig Locks, granddaughter of Duke Locks, this is Sofia Christian Ludwig, daughter of Friedrich II, Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, daughter of Count of Hesse-Darmstadt and our sister Elisabeth Dorothea Friedik" Khan, it seems that this is a diplomatic event, two princesses of the kingdom, the daughter of a duke and a princess of the kingdom, is this simply a small international conference between Central Europe.

Thinking about it, William looked at the children, and the greatest estimate was Elisabeth Dorothea Friedric, the daughter of the Count of Hesse-Darmstadt, who looked to be ten years old and about the same age as his sister Frederick Charlotte Ulrik Catarina.

And the smaller one like Karina Ludwig Locks, the granddaughter of Duke Locks, looks as big as Christine.

Well, seeing these three little girls, William once again proved the profound truth that nobles have no ugly girls.

Dozens of generations of excellent genes make these little girls as long as they are not genetically mutated, they must be Peugeot beauties when they grow up.

"See His Royal Highness the Prince," the three girls saluted William with shy faces "You don't have to be so polite, you're a friend of Christine, you're my friend, if you need any help, just call me," William said Christine's eyes narrowed into a slit when she heard William give her a long face like this.

"Your Royal Highness, I heard that you play your instrument very well, can you let us enjoy it?"

Karina asked William "Of course, please come with me," William replied, and walked to the concert hall of Sanssouci Palace.

"Sit down, everyone, I'll play a song for you" Arriving at the concert hall, William walked over to the instrument stand and took out a violin, and his hands jumped up and down as if in unison.

The famous musician Johann Sebastian Bach collected six of his best concertos and dedicated them to Marquis Christian Ludwig of Brandenburg.

These are the famous six Brandenburg Concertos, also known as the Brandenberg Concertos, which show brilliant and original contrasts, gorgeous and masterful polyphony, and lively and magnificent melodies.

Wilhelm played the second movement of the Brandenburg Concerto, a lyrical adagio.

There are contemplative and melancholy emotions as well as poetic idyllic pictures.

Listening to this movement, you don't want to get anything out of the music, just relax and enjoy the music that flows slowly.

Amid the music, several children slowly became intoxicated.

At the end of the song, Christine was the first to jump up, and excitedly puffed up her little hands.

The other three girls also woke up from the music.

Elizabeth looked at William affectionately, and those eyes seemed to be able to drown people out.

William secretly wiped his sweat, but he didn't expect little Lori's eyes to be so fierce.

"Your Highness, you play so well, I don't think my music teacher can compare to you," Sofia praised "Your Highness, can I ask you about music in the future," Elizabeth asked excitedly.

William smiled back and said: "Of course you can, it's not a consultation, we're just friends learning from each other" Before William could finish his modest words, a maid walked in and said to William: "Your Royal Highness, Your Majesty invites you to come over" William said yes and said to the girls: "I'm sorry, Your Majesty let me go, Christine you want to entertain your friends, you know" and walked out.

Not to mention the chatter of several girls after he left.

William walked to the hall where Frederick the Great usually handled government affairs, and in the hall there were several people who looked like nobles asking for instructions.

"William, come here, you guys go down first, and do as we just said" Frederick beckoned William and let the men go down.

The men saluted Frederick and William and walked out.

William entered, and Frederick motioned to the maid to shut the door, and said: "Wilhelm, the Austrians have acted, and have heard that Elector Karl Théodor of the Palatinate-Sulzbach has sent an envoy to the Austrians to make a proposal to cede Lower Bavaria to Austria, and that Austria will give him Austria as compensation.

And the young Austrian emperor Joseph II and his mother Maria Theresa agreed to this proposal.

Probably next year the Austrians will begin to surrender their territories, and we are running out of time, and I will not allow any Bavarian territory to fall into the hands of the Austrians."

Frederick sat down in his chair with a frown, deep in thought.

Thank you very much for the support of people and new books。。。。。。
