Introduction:

I believe I said that every prisoner in the prison claims to be innocent. They only become victims of false accusations by hard-hearted judges, incompetent lawyers, and police, or they are too bad luck. Although they swear by the Bible, they are duplicitous and open their mouths like televangeists. Most prisoners are not good people, they do not benefit themselves or others, and their greatest misfortune is to be born into this world. Andy is a banker who was sentenced to life in prison in a bank robbery. In Shawshank Prison, he meets Red, a veteran who has been serving years in prison. At first, Andy was not comfortable with prison life, but he gradually learned to get along with people and began to help other inmates learn to read and write. Andy's intelligence and diligence earned the trust of the prison guards and some of the inmates. Over time, Andy not only found spiritual solace but also used his professional skills to provide a lot of help to the prison management. He assisted the prison warden in laundering money and even helped the prison library improve its library management. Despite this, Andy never gave up hope, secretly digging a path to freedom, and eventually successfully escaped from prison. Rhett regains faith and hope in life under Andy's influence. When learned of Andy's plan to escape from prison, Red decided to follow in his footsteps and eventually managed to escape from prison as well. The two reunite on a Mexican beach and start a new life.
